Santuari de Lluc & Pujol dels Misteris, Mallorca, Spain

The so-called Hill of Mysteries is a scenic pathway in the north of Mallorca. It’s part of the Santuari de Lluc (also known as the Monastery of Lluc), Mallorca’s spiritual heart. The short and easy walking route leads you to a viewpoint overlooking a picturesque valley in the Serra de Tramuntana, perfect for a picnic at sunset.

Check out the botanical garden and, of course, the Basilica. This ‘sacred’ place – Lluc derives from the Latin for ‘sacred grove’ – is a calm retreat offering simple accommodation and a starting point for hikes.
