Capo San Lorenzo, southeastern Sardinia, Italy

Capo San Lorenzo
We discovered this beautiful, secluded stretch of Sardinia between Porto Corallo and Capo San Lorenzo by accident — our boat had a technical issue and we ended up stuck there for three weeks. The silver lining: several sandy beaches, two coastal paths (one along the shore, one higher up) with rocky terrain, and little coves for a swim or picnic. Capo San Lorenzo itself is off-limits — it’s a military zone. Porto Tramatzu is the last village with tourist infrastructure in the area, with one or two restaurants staying open in the off-season. For supplies, there’s a Conad City supermarket in Muravera.
