Crno Jezero

Located in the heart of UNESCO-listed Durmitor National Park, the Black Lake, called Crno Jezero in Montenegrin/Serbian, is a surprisingly warm glacial lake – perfect for combining a swim with a picnic on the shore. You can walk around both lakes that make up the Black Lake, or, in summer when the water level drops and the two lakes separate, just loop one. The setting is picture-perfect – pine forests, mirror-still water and Durmitor’s peaks as a backdrop.
