Cabo de Gata – Níjar Nature Reserve, Andalusia, Spain

This 460 km² natural park is a paradise for hiking and the perfect ‘bring your own picnic’ territory. You’re sure to find a breathtaking spot along the coast to take in this otherworldly setting. These photos were taken about an hour east of San José (on foot, of course), the main village, which makes for a good starting point.
